Qatar Airways announces its return to Canberra

After leaving Canberra about five years ago due to the spread of covid, Qatar Airways will have to relaunch in a few days – before the end of the year – its flights to the Australian capital which will be the sixth service by the global airline giant in the oceanic country.

A flight will take off every day from Doha-Hamad International Airport by Boeing 777 offering the ultra-modern Business Class Qsuite cabin, equipped with the Starlink service, offering very high-speed connection free of charge to passengers.

The return of Qatar Airways on this route was possible thanks to the efforts made by the Australian government in an approach with the boss of the Qatari airline group, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer.
From Canberra airport, QTR passengers can enjoy connections to one hundred and seventy destinations around the world.

In Australia, the national airline serves five other destinations namely: Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.
