Qatar Airways set to launch flights to Bogota

Qatar Airways will soon introduce a direct flight between Doha and Bogota, and even the Qatari national operator does not rule out the possibility of extending its service to Caracas in Venezuela.

The flight to Bogota, which will enter service as soon as Qatar Airways obtains approval from the Colombian aviation regulator, will probably be served twice a week, either by Boeing 777-300ER or A350-1000.

Qatar Airways wants to be the airline group that best connects the Middle East to Latin America. With this new route, it will be the only airline in the region to offer direct triangular flights to these two destinations.
