Qatar Airways serves Abha, strengthens Neom
The Saudi market remains a preferred destination for Qatar Airways, which today announced the opening of two new routes from Doha: one to Abha and another to Neom, the futuristic city it already serves.
As for flights to these two new destinations, the first departure is scheduled for January 2, 2025 to Abha, which will benefit from two weekly frequencies from Doha International Airport.
Neom, already connected to Doha, will also see its offer increase with four weekly rotations starting on the same date.
The new route to Abha, a city nestled in the mountains of southwest Saudi Arabia, opens a gateway to a region rich in cultural heritage and spectacular natural landscapes. This connection should appeal to both business travelers and tourists looking for new discoveries.
As for Neom, the ambitious futuristic city project designed to incorporate the latest advances in sustainability and technology, the increase in flight frequencies aligns with the grandiose development plans for the area.
