Qatar Airways takes off again to Venice
In a recent announcement, Qatar Airways confirmed the relaunch of its flights to Venice, rekindling its commitment to Italy following a pandemic-forced pause. From now on, travelers will be able to fly daily from Doha to reach the iconic Italian city, with flights timed to maximize international connectivity from Marco Polo Airport.
The inaugural flight marked a departure from Doha at 9:00 a.m. and landed in Venice at 2:20 p.m., while the flight returned to the Italian city at 4:50 p.m. This programming is designed to facilitate connections at Hamad International Airport, allowing travelers a smooth transition to their next destinations.
Thierry Antinori, the charismatic commercial director of Qatar Airways, did not hide his enthusiasm at the resumption of this route. “We are delighted to reconnect with Venice, a city of undeniable charm and an integral part of our European network,” he commented.
Venice joins Rome and Milan in Qatar Airways’ Italian portfolio, strengthening the airline’s presence in the region and promising new Italian adventures to travelers around the world.
