Qatar Airways resumes flights to Dubai and Damascus
After suspending its flights to the United Arab Emirates for several weeks due to the war in the Middle East, following a conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel, Qatar Airways has finally reinstated its Doha-Dubai service.
Due to this situation beyond its control, Qatar Airways had to cancel several flights to and from Dubai. The airline offered customers with valid reservations on this route the option to change their flights dates, request a travel voucher to be used later (valid for 365 days), or cancel their reservation and receive a full refund.
Passengers with confirmed reservations for travel between February 28 and September 15 can change their reservations free of charge and travel before October 31.
Resumption of flights to Damascus
In the same context, Qatar Airways will resume its flights connecting its Doha-Hamad hub to Damascus, Syria. The resumption will officially take place on May 1, 2026.
