Airport Dimensions: Sleepover now open at Doha’s Hamad Airport

A lifelong aviation enthusiast, I closely follow the news of international airlines. On air-qataria.com, I focus particularly on Qatar Airways and all the airlines serving Qatar, covering new routes, fleet developments, partnerships, and news related to the Hamad International Airport hub.
Curious and meticulous, I enjoy analyzing developments in the aviation sector and sharing the latest and most reliable information on air travel to and from Qatar with you.
Airport Dimensions, a subsidiary of the British group Collinson, has just inaugurated a new “Sleepover” facility at Doha’s Hamad International Airport. This marks the eighth location worldwide for this concept, which recently succeeded the established “sleep ‘n fly” brand as part of a global repositioning of airport rest services.
A concept designed for transit comfort
Sleepover addresses a simple need: offering travelers a genuine private space to rest during a layover, rather than forcing them to doze off in a departure gate seat.
According to Andrew Van Eeden, Managing Director EMEA at Airport Dimensions: “Demand for premium rest solutions is growing globally, a trend particularly evident at Hamad International Airport, where travelers are looking to make the most of their connection time.”
The facility offers several modular options tailored to different passenger profiles:

Individual pods (“nap pods”) designed for a quick nap or a full night’s sleep;
double cabins for couples or pairs of travelers;
Family cabins, featuring double beds or bunk beds, for families (up to four people) on extended layovers;
Showers and restroom facilities (depending on the specific location), allowing passengers to freshen up before boarding.
Each space is designed as an enclosed, soundproofed pod, removed from the terminal’s hustle and bustle, featuring individual lighting and convenient storage.

Where is it located?
Sleepover is located directly inside Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) within the transit zone, meaning “airside”, accessible to connecting passengers without the need to pass through immigration. There are two main locations:
North Node: Lower level, near Concourse C gates, opposite gates C30/C31, approximately 100 meters from the Concourse C food court.
South Node: A two-minute walk from the iconic teddy bear sculpture, in the corridor between the Fendi and Loro Piana boutiques.
How to access it?
Access is available in several ways: by booking online in advance via the dedicated website, or directly on-site, subject to availability. It operates much like a standard transit hotel, with time slots billed by the hour rather than by the full night, accommodating everything from a short restorative nap to extended rest, depending on the length of the connection. Holders of Priority Pass or LoungeKey cards, wo programs also owned by Collinson, also enjoy easy access to these spaces.
What are the access rates?
Access rates for Airport Dimensions spaces vary depending on the type of space chosen and the duration of the stay:
Individual Pod:
Day slot (6 hrs): ≈ $60
Night slot (8 hrs): ≈ $80
Daytime slot (10 hrs): ≈ $90
Double Cabin:
Day slot (6 hrs)
≈ $100
Night slot (8 hrs)
≈ $130
Daytime slot (10 hrs)
≈ $150
However, rates vary depending on the time of year. It is therefore advisable to check prices at the time of booking.
A space reserved for Qatar Airways passengers?
No. Sleepover is not a service exclusive to the Qatari national carrier. The space is open to all passengers transiting through Hamad.
