
Qatar Airways launches a triangular flight in South America
The airline Qatar Airways will launch in June, from its hub in Doha, a triangular route that will connect two South American destinations. These are Bogota in Colombia and Caracas in Venezuela.
The flights are operated by Boeing 777-200 LR with a capacity of 276 passengers in two cabins including 42 seats in Business class.
This triangular connection will be operated weekly and will be offered every Sunday and Wednesday with a scheduled departure to Bogota and then to Caracas.
“We are delighted to offer flights to Bogota and Caracas to complete our South American network,” announced in a press release from the Qatari company, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of the Qatar Airways group.
Next summer, Qatar Airways passengers will have access to 14 more US destinations from its Doha base, including:
- USA : Washington DC and Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Boston and Atlanta.
- Canada : Toronto and Montreal.
- Brazil : Sao Paulo.
