I wrote to the Sydney office of Qatar airways on 16 December 2024 regarding ongoing problems obtaining a seat booking on a Liberian code share flight and I have not received any response.
G and J Davis. I paid for seat allocation when I booked and have received seats on all Qatar legs. However I have been unable to secure a seat booking on iberian code share flight on 9 June 2025, even though my booking with Qatar was for seat allocations on all legs.
I would like this situation resolved in my favour.
I would also expect the decency of a reply to my letter and should this not be forthcoming I intend to raise this matter with the appropriate Ombudman.

As of today no response to my letter of 16 December 2024, nor have I had a response to a complaint lodged on 12 january 2025. I have today tried to call using the Sydney number and was on hold for 45 minutes before my call was answered. The person or machine at the other end could not speak understandable english and could only say that the call was going to be terminated.

I’m wanting to confirm if I book a flight from Perth to Doha with a 3hr layover and the connecting flight leaves Doha to London that my 16 year old son will be escorted to the connecting gate. Both flights will be with Qatar airlines.

I am flying from Adelaide to Doha to Warsaw ON 21 July 2024.
I have a bag with dimensions 58x43x23cm which contains a small guitar. I would like to bring this bag as cabin luggage. I have found on your website that Qatar’s cabin limit is 50x37x25.
I am seeking permission to bring this bag in the cabin because the contents are fragile.
