Qatar Airways opens lounge at New York JFK Airport

The Qatar Airways Lounge at New York JFK Airport opened its doors last week. Located in the airport’s new Terminal One, to which the national airline plans to relocate its operations next year, the new lounge occupies 1,400 square meters and can accommodate up to 500 visitors daily, including those traveling in Qatar Airways Business Class and Oneworld airlines.

With floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views of the apron, it reflects a contemporary and refined style. Eligible Qatar Airways and Oneworld travelers will be treated to a new kind of exclusive experience in the tranquility and comfort of an understated luxury setting, ideal for relaxing or working before their flight.

“We are delighted to welcome our customers to our lounge at New York JFK Airport. This new Premium Lounge incorporates many features sought after by today’s high-value business travelers, including a luxurious, tranquil, and stress-free place to work or relax during their travels, and has been designed with this in mind,” said Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Group CEO of Qatar Airways.

“Customers will be welcomed in a setting that showcases Qatari design and craftsmanship, as well as elements that highlight the majestic beauty of New York City, allowing them to enjoy an inspiring environment before their flight,” he added.

The new Qatar Airways lounge offers customers a full range of complimentary beverages, including a selection of fruit drinks, a meal stop with a chef, specialty coffee brands, free Wi-Fi, a cyber counter, as well as work facilities, lounges, armchairs, showers with heated floors and a private area for special guests.
