Qatar Airways is organizing repatriation flights
Starting tomorrow, March 12, 2026, Qatar Airways will operate special flights to three destinations to repatriate foreign passengers stranded in Doha who wish to return home due to the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East following Iranian strikes targeting US bases in the Gulf states.
Qatar Airways’ repatriation flight program includes 29 daily flights from Doha-Hamad Airport to London (UK), Madrid (Spain), and New York (USA).
The airline announced in a statement published on its Facebook page that it scheduled these flights after receiving approval from the country’s Civil Aviation Authority.
Passengers wishing to take these flights have until midnight tonight to make their reservations, either by visiting the Qatar Airways website or by contacting one of the airline’s agencies.
It should be noted that due to the airstrikes between Iran, the United States, and Israel, the airline has had to close its airspace, resulting in the cancellation of hundreds of flights. The resumption of air traffic depends on the improvement of the security situation in the region.
