Metaverse: Qatar Airways offers its passengers a state-of-the-art digital experience

Qatar Airways passengers now have access to a new entertainment service. Users get a true Qverse cabin interior experience using the VR headsets, thanks to the Metaverse. The carrier from the Asian country has also become the first operator in the world to have a MetaHuman cabin crew.

The Qatari airline now offers a virtual reality experience on board its flights. Its passengers can enjoy a unique pre-flight experience by allowing them to visit and navigate the check-in hall at the airport, and even enter the cabins of its aircraft using their personal electronic devices.

Qatar Airways has launched a series of experiments. It offers a handful of passengers on selected flights to test virtual reality.

Qatar Airways is now the first airline to experiment with this technology in Asia and the Middle East. This virtual reality entertainment currently makes it possible to test travel on board economy class only. The embedded narrative content is presented in 3D. It offers an immersive experience to passengers.
