Qatar Airways to launch Doha-Caracas flight this summer
Qatar Airways is strengthening its long-haul network with the launch of a new route this summer.
Starting July 22, 2026, the Qatari carrier will begin twice-weekly service to Caracas, Venezuela. The outbound flight (from Doha) includes a stopover in Bogotá, Colombia.
The flight will operate every Sunday and Wednesday, departing Doha-Hamad (DOH) at 7:30 a.m. and arriving at Bogotá’s Eldorado Airport (BOG) at 4:05 p.m. before continuing to Caracas-Simón Bolívar (CCS) at 5:35 p.m., with a scheduled landing in the Venezuelan capital at 8:40 p.m.
The return flight will depart Venezuela at 10:40 p.m. and land in Doha the following day at 7:55 p.m. (Qatar time).
Qatar Airways expands its presence in Latin America :
With the launch of this route, Qatar Airways adds five South American destinations to its network. The oneworld airline already operates regular flights to Buenos Aires (Argentina), São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Santiago (Chile).

Venezuelan travelers taking the new Qatar Airways flight can now connect to numerous must-see sun destinations upon arrival in Doha, such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth in Australia; Cairo, Nairobi, and Johannesburg in Africa; and Paris, London, Madrid, and Frankfurt in Europe.
