Qatar Airways: More than twenty five 737 MAX 10 aircraft will soon join its fleet
Qatar Airways has announced that it has ordered twenty-five 737 MAX 10 aircraft from the American manufacturer Boeing. The total cost of the order reached $3.3 billion.
It was at the Farnborough Airshow taking place in the UK that the advertised carrier confirmed that it had placed the order to achieve these single-aisle aircraft, and which according to Stan Deal, President of the Commercial Division of Boeing “These aircraft are the most efficient, and also the most economical in their category”.
As a reminder, this order placed with Boeing is confirmed after the legal dispute between Qatar Airways and the French aircraft manufacturer Airbus after a major defect detected on twenty-three aircraft pushing the national carrier to ground them and request compensation of up to two hundred thousand dollars to Airbus, for each aircraft.
The arrival of the 737 MAX 10 aircraft will allow Qatar Airways to expand its network of international flights knowing that currently, the national company operates a network comprising destinations in more than ninety countries.
