MASkargo, Qatar Airways’ new cargo partner
Qatar Airways Cargo continues to expand its partnerships with the incorporation of MASkargo, with the cargo arm of Malaysia Aviation Group.
Of Malaysian origin, this company has a national and international presence and extensive experience in air cargo services with the capacity to handle large volumes, especially in the field of transport of perishable goods and pharmaceutical products.
Qatar Airways aircraft (Boeing 777 type) and MASkargo Airbus A330s, are prepared to transport temperature-controlled loads, as well as multi-temperature, are ideal for very delicate products, such as medicines and foodstuffs.
Currently, the two airlines are collaborating to strengthen their services on international routes such as Doha – Kuala Lumpur, and Kuala Lumpur – Sydney and Melbourne. The two operators have effectively managed to add an estimated transport load of 275 tonnes weekly.
Qatar Airways seeks through this partnership to protect the environment through the efficient use of resources, with a safe working environment and the continuous improvement of its integrated management system. Likewise, it guarantees the necessary training of all its employees in terms of quality, environment and safety.
Qatar Airways expands cargo services to China
Last month, the Qatari airline launched a regular cargo service between Doha and two destinations in China: Chengdu and Chongqing.
